This Privacy Policy explains what information YallReviews collects when you use the Site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum we need to run the Site's features — we don't sell personal information.

Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

• Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address, a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text), and an optional display name.
• Newsletter signup. If you subscribe, we store your email address to send the newsletter and let you unsubscribe at any time.
• Usage of the Site. When you save an offer to your wishlist, vote that a code "worked" or "didn't work," or click through to reveal a code, we record that action. If you're signed in, it's tied to your account; if not, votes are deduplicated using an anonymous key so the same visitor can't vote twice on one offer, without identifying who you are. This is how we track which offers are actually working for shoppers.

We don't use third-party advertising trackers or sell any of this information to data brokers or advertisers.

How we use it

• To operate account features — sign-in, wishlist, and your usage history.
• To send the newsletter, if you've subscribed, and transactional emails like password resets.
• To measure which offers hold up in real use, which feeds directly into our verification process.
• To keep the Site secure — for example, detecting repeated failed login attempts.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential, first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Data sharing

We use a small number of service providers to run the Site — for example, an email delivery provider to send newsletters and account emails, and our hosting/database provider. These providers only receive the information needed to perform their service and aren't permitted to use it for anything else. We don't share your information with the merchants listed on the Site.

Your choices

You can update your account details or delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. If you ask us to delete your account, we'll remove your personal information except where we're required to keep records for legal or security reasons.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
